PERSONNEL APPEALS BOARD FOR GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTABILITY OFFICE REQUEST FOR COMMENTS ON PROPOSED LOCAL RULES

The Personnel Appeals Board has completed a review of their procedural processes and regulations. The Board found that there was a need to update and modernize many aspects of practice before the Board.
It also sought to make the process for filing petitions and litigating cases more accessible for unrepresented individuals and representatives that were unfamiliar with Board practice. As a result, the Board is proposing significant changes, including the introduction of the PAB Local Rules.
Prior to the adoption and implementation of PAB Local Rules, the Board wishes to offer an opportunity for public comment.
